Poor visibility Friday night resulted in a United Airlines flight losing its way after landing at Winnipeg's Richardson International Airport.
The plane, which had just arrived from Denver, was taxiing to the terminal building, but the crew couldn't see all the guiding lights in the blowing snow and turned off of the tarmac onto grass.
The CRJ700 plane has been stuck there all night.
No one was injured. The airport used a city bus to move the estimated 80 passengers to the terminal because the weather was too cold to ask people to walk.
A spokeswoman for the airport told CBC News on Saturday that the plane was still on the grass and that local crews were working to move it. It was expected the work would be done by early afternoon.

In a separate incident Friday evening, an Air Canada Jazz plane reported hitting a number of birds shortly after takeoff.
The crew turned the plane back to Winnipeg and landed safely.
An initial investigation found some damage to the plane, which was described as minor. It was not known whether the plane involved was operating on a scheduled route with passengers.
